Hand-Tufted Rugs – Made to Commission

I began tufting during the Covid lockdown, teaching myself the process as a way of translating my oil paintings into tactile works. Each rug starts with one of my painted designs, scaled up and projected onto a backing cloth before being hand-tufted with colourful yarn.

I use deadstock yarn from a mill in Halifax, working with Axminster wool a durable, cleanable material to create pieces that are as functional as they are beautiful.

Every rug is unique and can be commissioned to order, making it possible to own a bespoke artwork designed for either the floor or the wall.
